So I came back, honestly I was terrified. I was afraid that I would completely fail again like the first time. This time I took it seriously, I knew that if I slacked off and didn’t care like my first semester that I would have never been able to continue.
Classes I Enrolled in:
- Introduction to Business
- Organizational Behavior
- Enhanced Integrated Read/Write
- Health
- Business Mathematics
I figured taking the most classes I could would be the best because I was determined to finish this time around. And it payed off. Now in another post I will tell you what happened to me during my first semester back but I just have to say, if you ever need to take a class with an amazing Professor who is one of the calmest and most patient Professors you would have. I highly advise Mrs. Maureen Mas-Feary. I had her for my Enhanced Read and Write class.
During this semester, I was working at McDonald’s in Canandaigua, about three weeks into the semester I was unfortunately fired because I was to slow and stupid to keep up, actual manager words just not the one who fired me. When my Professor found out she helped me make my resume, and helped me find places that were hiring. With her help and leniency on her attendance policy, I manged to find not only one job but two. I worked at the Holiday Inn Express in Geneva NY and then a week later, I was hired at Tops Friendly Markets in Canandaigua NY where I still work today, a little over a year later. For the rest of that semester and about half of my 2017 Spring Semester I worked two jobs, majority of my shifts were overnights so even with sleep deprivation I managed to finish both semesters and with very decent grades compared to my first semester. You can see that disaster here. Compared to the first semester my last two have been fantastic as seen below.
